M. S. Sriram

M. S. Sriram is an expert in software with over six years of industry experience that spans database-backed Web services, networking protocols, and geographic information Systems.

Sriram worked on Bell Labs projects as a consultant from 1996 to 2001. He was the key member of the team that developed the Maps On Us (www.mapsonus.com), the web service that offers integrated maps, directions, and routes. After the sale of Maps On Us to SwitchBoard, Sriram worked Surf N Chat, a website that Lucent was building to offer web based customer care. Following that, Sriram worked on the OfficeTunnel project aimed at providing secure access to the corporate computing environment from anywhere, using any network, and using any type of device.

Sriram received his MS in Computer Science in 1995 from the University of Delaware, and his BTech, in Computer Science & Engineering in 1993 from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
